Thermoforming technology is an incredibly cost-effective process that creates plastic from, well, sheets of plastic! The process works by forming the plastic into molds or shapes with the appropriate amounts of pressure and heat. If you are ordering a lot of custom cases or materials made using thermoforming, huge machines can work rapidly to make and trim thousands of plastic pieces per hour. Thermoforming is used to make parts for everything from custom cases to food service equipment. Plastics used include PVC (polyvinyl chloride), PET (polyethylene terephthalate), and RPET (recycled PET).
Thermoforming is primarily used to make two types of packaging:
1.Flexible thermoforming package
